North Slope Imagination Library

The Friends of Tuzzy Library, in partnership with Best Beginnings Alaska and the NSB Mayor's Healthy Communities Initiative, are proud to bring Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to the North Slope.  All children enrolled in the program will receive a FREE book by mail every month until they reach the age of 5.  This program is currently open to all Barrow residents ages 0 to 4, and will be available to all North Slope residents by the end of the year.  Enrollment is ongoing, so sign up your child today and begin enjoying brand new books at home!

Family Storytime

Tuzzy Library Storytime is packed with stories, songs, games and rhymes that will get kids moving and interested in the wonderful world of books! Excellent preparation for school; perfect for parents and kids ages 0 to 5.

Special Events Calendar   

Family Movie Night: Diary of a Wimpy Kid
 Join us on Friday, August 27th at 7pm for a free showing of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," based on the wildly popular books by Jeff Kinney. Popcorn will be served.  All ages welcome.  Parents please note that this film is rated PG and is better suited to school age children.

Tuzzy Library Super Sleuths
Calling all detectives!  Help us solve a mystery at the library using your keen powers of observation and stunning intellect.  We need you on Saturday, September 11th at 1pm, so put your thinking caps on and come on over to the library!  Best for kids ages 6 and up.
